Yeah..is StarCraft II era now! Got my copy of StarCraft II during the official launch date from The Software Boutique…sigh, did not manage to get my freebies (T-shirt & Dog Tag). Anyway, got a giant huge POSTER of Jim Raynor, better than nothing Today was already Day 3 from the launch date and I only manage to play for a while..(work still comes first). Though was only few hours of playing it, I already started to like the whole newly system in this StarCraft II. Just the thing about this game…the requirement seriously is very very HIGH…almost all of my friends who played this have to set the graphics to “low”. So, if u wan a full graphic experience, guess u will need a crazy machine for it.
In this post let me give a bit of the brief review on this game.
The Legend International Water Homes is a newly opened resort which is situated at Port Dickson (yeah…i know the beach sux there, but well..not going to mention about the beach anyway). It’s rated as a 5-star hotel if i am not wrong. My girlfriend was able to get a great deal on the stay (citibank *wink*). So we pay a visit to there during last weekend…..
The resort is actually right beside glory beach resort..ermm, that’s if you know where glory beach resort is. If you don’t know then you have to google map your own.
Upon reaching there, being greet by the very welcome smile from all the staffs there and no doubt it felt good for that. So then did all those checking in procedure…and here we go! On our way to our chalet which is above the beach riding on a buggy!
Hahh~ think i better start blogging about my work, if not…i really don’t think my blog will stay alive if this keep going like this! I’d been working in my current company for more than a year, and i foresee that it will soon break my previous record, which is working for a company more than 1 1/2 year. Was actually planning to leave for the pass few months, and there are some offers which i got from another company. However, i decided to stay back for a while more. Promotion? well, i was being told that i am going to get it, but whether it is true or not still is a question….i sensed and felt that now the management is trying to make a change, but again, whether it will success or not, nobody knows…and whether will this maintain or not, it’s another question.
I attended Parkson Fall Winter Collection Presentation at KLCC “Ladies Floor” yesterday. Not many photographers on site, therefore I am glad that I can have the chance of choosing position as well as moving around to shoot at different angle. The featured brands on the fashion show were United Colors of Benetton, Monsoon, Sisley and Accessorizes. I have selected some photos for your viewing pleasure. Yesterday I had an opportunity to follow my Beauty Editor for an interview with Stella Chung and Kar Yoon. So, again I will not miss the chance of taking the local celebrities’ real up close photos this time. Today after my “Sunday job” helping out at my client beauty workshop in Pavilion Parkson, I quickly went down to the Pavilion concourse area where MIFW (Malaysia International Fashion Week) is having their show. One thing about being a media person is the name card with publication works well with most events, so even though I was not invited, but still I was able to enter and grab a spot for photo snapping. My intention after all was just trying to practice my photography skill, so I will not miss this chance. Immediately after I dropped my card, I ran for that nice position for shooting without any delay. Although the show was already half way through, still I was able to capture and witness some of the great fashion and interesting designs. With my limited memory card space (stored mostly with workshop photos in the morning), I can only make shots around 25 photos, so I have to take my shot wisely…
It’s been a while since me and my girl went for a vacation. Well, she actually have to attend her ACCA class on every sun morning, which means we can’t really go anywhere far. Since this National Day falls on Monday and also her birthday is around the corner, so we decided to visit a nearby vacation spot. Cyberview Lodge Resort and Spa which is situated at Cyberjaya.
Though is a local vacation spot, but is a 5-star rated resort. Been hearing a lot of good comments about it and know that they have this Internet Promo Deal going on, so just took one of the package
Seeing enough of Transformer? Wait till u see this man, Bumblebees swarming Beijing! Yeah… in conjunction of the release for Transformer 2 : Revenge of the Fallen, 42 bumblebize cars had a “Bumblebee Parade” at somewhere in Beijing. Of course not all are the Chevrolet Camaro, rather among these 42 participants, most of them actually painted their car yellow and adding up the vinyl.
I believe everybody had know about the tragedy of the King of Pop - Michael Jackson. He was a living legend whom made a great impact in the music industry. Songs like Black or White, You Are Not Alone, Heal the World, I am Bad, Thriller etc which i m sure all of us had heard of it. Dance move of his - Moon Walk which was also widely being immitated by not only adults but also youngsters.
How great impact is the death MJ? I believe on Friday itself we all already can feel it, just the radio station itself for example. In that morning, when i was on my way to work in the car, every FM be it is Hitz, Mix, Light n Easy, One, My and 988 etc had been playing his song over and over again until today and still his song had been repeating. Events like gathering on the mourn of his death has also been organized immediately by the media association….is it a way to promote and exposure for themselves? or was it really a true tribute to MJ? either way, just hope all these gatherings are able to excute smoothly and hopefully nobody will misuse this for some selfish purpose.
Back from the premier screening of Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen, thanks to LG blog for organizing the contest which gave out free movie tickets with the Transformer 2 T-shirt.
Before proceeding…minor spoiler ahead, so proceed with caution…
Overall the movie is good, and i have to say, the transformation always amazed me every single time, but if i really have to make a comparison between Transformer 1 and Transformer 2, i would have to say Transformer 1 is more interesting than Transformer 2. It doesn’t mean that Transformer 2 was not good, but is just because of the high expectation from it after the great response from Transformer 1.
