Friendster - The More Sexy The More Friends
Today when i was reading newspaper, i saw this article talking about this online friend thing. Although it did not say is from which online meeting friend’s website, but even a fool would know is Friendster. The article actually is in chinese, I will summarize it in english
There’s this Singaporean mother who one day she accidently saw her daughter’s self-potrait photo on her friendster account, (I dunno how this mother’s “accident” actually happen in the first place though) and she was shocked to see how her 16 years old daughter dressed up in the photo, she was with just only a thin little bit of cloth and is able to see her cleavage. According to her mother, her daughter is actually an obedient and did not even dress up as she did in her friendster’s photo. When she question her daughter about it, her daughter said that a lot of girls also did as what she does and some of them even more exposed. Of course the mother was shock and almost fainted when she learned that the “other girls” her daughter mentioned was actually aged only the early 20. This was the way to have more online friends, the sexier the more friends! said the daughter.
Well, what the daughter said was true actually for nowadays online world. Those girls with better looking and dressed up sexy will have a whole lot of friends in their friend list, some of them even have several accounts to accomodate their friends. Yeah, they have this whole lots of friends, but how many are actually the real friends which they know in real life? Friendster to me is a website where you and your friends would gather around, knowing each other’s wheraboute, what they did recently, share photos among others and also know some online friends (really get to know a online friends of course), and i believe the founder of Friendster thought the same way too. But now it has turn out to be a place where guys find their prey of lust here and girls will show of their ability to attract guys and the number of friends they have here. Some girls i have top say, please save your “creativity” on other usable side, no need to throw all the animated stuffs and mess up all your css to make you profile page looks like a heaven paradise. Simply changing your font color and blend all your text into your background, smart! 
I’d now very seldom login to my account in friendster, maybe once 2 - 3 weeks or mayb not even once until i saw i have somebody sending me messages. Another thing is the testimonial. Testimonial was actually to write your opinion about that particular person, but now it end up being a place to show all the fancy animated gif, a simply copy and paste on a particular code and paste onto the testimonial column and send, that’s it u’d sent a testimonial to a friend. “Thanks for being my friend”, “Thanks for accepting me as friend”, “Give me this much of money and I will write a good testimonial about you”, “Friends Forever” *BLINK* *BLINK*, *FLASH* *FLASH* etc, i don’t even bother to approve this kind of copy and paste, forward, template testimonial! Of course seasons greeting would be exceptional.
