Boonage

Early in the morning me and my cousin make our move at around 07:45, initially was planned to be 07:30 but it was drizzling on that very morning and i can’t resist the seducing from my bed, but still yeah in the end manage to get my ass off the bed. It was drizzling all the way from my house to Karak Highway, started to see some traffic on the Tol area when we reach there but luckily not all the way from KL back to Raub, the whole journey to Raub was just around one and a half hour. Had some light breakfast in Raub and continue heading back to Benta (yeah, my hometown), first thing which comes in mind when i reach, SLEEP!

Of all the way was just watching TV, snacks and mahjong-ing. (yeah, government doesn’t allow gambling, but who cares! is CNY!) Finally is time for the reunion dinner, a very pleasent meal of course with loads of meats, hmm~~~~ (arr! didn’t manage to snatch any photos of the food), after the meal…yeah is time for the countdown fireworks. Every year’s CNY eve, there will be a fireworks event beside our house as beside our house is a Chinese KuanYin Temple (got a valid reason for the fireworks) It was said that the polic in our area is quite massive in seizing those who “play” fireworks, but still these guys ignore about these massive seizes and promise to hold the fireworks event as usual for the crowd’s sake.

And so the time has arrive for the fireworks, this time the venue has change to the area which is a bit higher up from the ground (mount top where we call that area), manage to use my camera to capture some of the fireworks shown. Although we were able to see it but the quality and quantity of the fireworks wasn’t really what we expected and wasn’t as awesome as previous years, (changed supplier maybe :lol:), it was just a few seconds of fireworks shown….anyway still we are greatful to these guys who are willing to “put their life on the front line” for putting up the fireworks event for us every year with their own funding

After the fireworks, went to sleep of course! Wasn’t able to stay up till late as i expected, working life really make my sleeping hours back to normal even when is festive season

Well, manage to get some of the footage on the fireworks, wasn’t that great but still…just watch, is fireworks !
