Boonage

The morning first day of the Chinese New Year is a great one, woke up and have a vegetarian meal (usually will have to be a full day vegetarian during the first day of CNY), not having with every family member together last we used to have a couple of years before, and I it was already 11:00 when i woke up, hehe! Holiday anyway~ After the breakfast, lunch, brunch or whatever you call it, went to the front door to see what’s going on outside the house for the first day of CNY this year. Once i open the door, WTF! The temple beside starting to burn the joss sticks!!

Every year, i mean EVERY YEAR they have to burn those joss sticks whenever there are donors who donates an amount of money to the temple, and is not normal joss stick! These joss stick are big, you should know the big i meant is how big… Why i am so pissed? Because of the smokes that came out from the burned joss sticks and the ashes flying around like swarm of bees! and my house here is just beside the temple, right BESIDE! Every year we have to suffer from these smoke flying ashes’! I understand that the temple has to light the joss stick whenever people donates or request, but can’t they all just light up maybe 3 - 5 at a time? So that the smoke flying ashes are not that thick, they all have the whole 15 days to light the whole lots of joss stick, don’t tell me that in the 15 days everyday there will be people who doante money or make request for lighting up the joss stick! Or maybe shift the joss sticks to a place nearby area where the smoke flying ashes won’t come near to the housing area (FYI, this temple is in the middle of the village where all the other houses are quite near to each other), lighting up the joss stick is just an act to show your favor, is not that you must face to joss stick right infront of the KuanYin statue -_-! Even if you say those donors doesn’t like the joss stick to be put away from temple, come on! Which donor when they donate the money will come and check and ask “Where is my joss stick ar?” O_O They should put themselves as the citizens staying around and think of it, the yearly haze havoc already can caused various of illness on humans, how are we all gonna stand with this smoke flying ashes which are so damn thick and heavy!

After a whole afternoon of struggling, finally reach at night and luckily there are rains to wash up the smokey environment a bit. 20:00 has finally arrived and i sat down on the sofa preparing to watch The Myth which was about to start on that time, with a whole stack of pringles and a can of shandy’s! Now that’s enjoyment~~~

Although i’d watched this movie, but still i am quite eager on watching it again. One reason is because is watching with different people and another reason is of course not Jacky Chan for God Sake! isKim Hee Seon! She’s Hot and Cool! She really looks good in the ancient chinese costume!

2 hours has passed for the movie to end, my eyes started to turn red, and i can guarantee this is because of the joss stick! It would certainly bring negative effect on my eyes which are in the middle of recovering from LASIK surgery last few weeks! Fark! So end up resting early again. Sleeping early during holidays -_-! Sigh~
