What Could Have Gone Worst?

So, after passing the ruined whole half day, is finally time for a dating~ Up till the time i left my house, i would never know something even worst is going to happen to me very soon. Car accident!

It was raining extremely heavy this evening at Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya area. This incident took place at Subang Jaya SS15. On the image shown below, Red is my car, and Blue is a Kancil car.

At that time i wan about to drive cross the junction infront of me so that i could get across. Of course before i starting to cross it, will certainly look to the right, left and to the right again, is the bloody simple basic rules! Without seeing any sign of a car coming from both side (at least there’s no sign of car which are able to reach me not until i totally cross over to the opposite). So i started to cross, and OUT OF NOWHERE, there’s this kancil coming from the right side! 2 seconds ago when i look to the right it was empty and 2 seconds after there’s a car coming from there! Can you imagine the speed?? So i sounded my honk hope that he could at least slow down his car or even try to avoid my car, but to me it seems he doesn’t even care to brake or even to avoid me! So, end up crashing the front part of my car, direct to the front tyre, upon the bang from that kancil onto my car, a strong impact could be felt and both of my hand were being pushed away while the sterling was forced to turn due to impact lay on the front tyre. Not only that, i can felt my car was lifted a bit and being force 1 - 2 meter to the left.

And so, without even taking an umbrella with me, i quickly rushed down and walk towards the kancil with great anger (don’t ask me why but i really doesn’t know why i was that angry that time). I just asked the driver to come down from the car and wanted to know why the hell he drove that freaking fast in such heavy raining weather where you can’t even see further then 1KM! He told me : “No lah, i was driving only 40 - 50 km/h! the question is why you without looking left and right before you even start to come out from the junction?!” (he was talking Bahasa Melayu) Hah! 40 - 50 km/h would cause such big impact?! You gotto try harder than that Kancil Guy! Of course he doesn’t want to admit that is his fault, neither do me! So under the heavy rain we talk on this for more then 10 minutes and we both are totally soaked with water from top to bottom. In the end we decided to make a report to the Police at the Police Station nearby. I tell you, my conversation in Bahasa Melayu during that time really sux! For how many years i did not talk more than 5 malay words to any other people.

Reached the Police Station, we took the form and wrote down out details and GOD! Have to write an ESSAY to describe what happened back then! Luckily my baby’s with me and she helped me over it. The Kancil guy finished writing first (he’s a malay come on, of course he’s faster in writing these kind of thing), and he headed straight to see the Seargent. Me and my baby waited for quite long, all of the sudden that kancil guy just drove his car off! Seriously i did not see him coming out from the Seargent office and going towards his car, neither do my baby. If i saw it i would certainly stop him immediately! Well, off he goes, and we continue to wait. Waited for more then 1/2 hour, one of the police came to us and told us that the system is down due to the lightning storm from the heavy rain, so they can’t do any report. WTF! now only you told us! Why don’t you wait until the next morning only inform us?! He even asked us whether to continue wait for 1/2 hour for their system to restart or we go for dinner first (Yup, not yet have our dinner, is already 20:00 at night) Of course we wanted to continue on waiting, who knows what will happen if we left for dinner.

Another half and hour has gone and finally i can proceed with the report. Met the Seargent, and i describe to him what had happen (with lousy Bahasa Melayu). Then he asked me: Who is at the main road? Of course i told him: Not me, is that Kancil. Then quickly he said this to me: Ok, you are wrong than, because you are no at the main road. Is your wrong always despite even if that Kancil is speeding, this is the law.

After he said this to me, everything already over. Law? hah! Is it a funny kiddo thing to be brought to court for the lawyers to argue about? Such absurd and nonsense? Speeding is no wrong~ main road is everything kid! Tell you what Kancil guy, if you weren’t bang on my tyre but on my bumper, your car i would say certainly end up worst then what you have now! if you bang a bit further behind, jackpot! you will bang right on my driver seat and you could get yourself to be a murderer of 2 innocent citizens! If you weren’t on the main road, i can guarantee you’re fucked!

Since the “LAW” had spoken, nothing can be argue. So what do i get? A car with the front part’s parquet totally gone in and my front tyre alignment totally run off! And of course, a compound worth RM 300. Cool huh?

So, do i felt myself wrong? yes, indeed..i felt wrong because i did not study Bahasa Melayu properly during my schooling days and did not practice it verbally enough. Guys outthere, learn more on your Bahasa Melayu, will come in handy in such situation

BAD BAD DAY!

The last time I made a traffic accident police report, I wrote in English and it was accepted. If you feel you were treated unfairly, you can refuse to pay the compound and appeal in court, though that could cause you time and money.

So, at this point, just take this as a lesson and move on with life. After all, you do know what this country is all about…..

HAH! I know what law he’s telling you Boon, I’m sure you do as well *hint *hint, he’d probably still be alright even if you two expired cause he’s on the “Main Road”.

loon said during March 12th, 2007 at 10:51 pm

cannot…coz the whole village is behind me -_- 20 MIB….scary…

boon said during March 13th, 2007 at 1:36 am

not to say i m discrimination or wat, but i do kinda hate those village indian, coz they r so uncivilized or uneducated or maybe both, everything just settle with their black bare fist! Not only i have such perception, even some indian friends of mine they agreed with me as well, and they even said that these indian really is a disgrace of the indian race…see, they do said this even for their own race..

Pixelatedmo said during March 14th, 2007 at 11:55 am

semua pun sama lah… satu kali sama…. yes we might be ashamed by some of our brothers miss deeds but using the term ‘black’ is really uncalled for. I do not appreciate it…

Secondly I used to live in Klang were Pandamaran was famous for their ‘White Ghost’ (chinese squarters) and port klang was famous for ‘Black Ghost’(Indian squaters)and Kampung Raja Uda (Belacan Ghost) (Malay villagers)> I lived here long enuff to see and vitness that they all (Chinese, Indian and Malays) did the same thing when there was an accident in their neighbourhood. They beat the drivers up. So… you tell me whats the difference between the races… semua pun satu kali sama lah…

Thirdly, when moving out of a junction you look right, then left and then right again before you move you car out into the road. but in your case you most definately looked right, then left and moved your car out while looking right again….. (this is normal bad habit that we all do). So yes the kancil guy may have been speeding but you were careless. Why i know this… because i have done the same thing. …come out of a lane and was faced with a speeding car which was not there before..

forthly, you can write a police report in English…

boon said during March 14th, 2007 at 12:24 pm

cool G, no harsh on it ;)

i know when i mentioned “black” to refer to indians would bring anger to this race, but of course i wouldn’t use this to those normal indians, but to those whom are in that particular “group” which i mentioned above. Be it if is an indian, chinese or malays or any other races, if their attitude is barbaric or uncivilized, i won’t give face on calling these “group” of people using these kinda terms: black, pig, white shit, bastard or watever.

so-call multi-race country and being friendly always (ya right), either is indians, chinese or malay, just couldn’t understand why they would wanna settle things by fist rather than having it settle by peace especially those who lived in small areas.

True i might be wrong on tat moment but i still doesn’t like the law which says main road’s cars are always the right party, and it will always be the wrong party if is between cars and motorbikes

Dude, that Indian jibe is uncalled for. Each race has their own village idiots, and they all ACT the same. The difference is, perhaps one tries to be ignorant about their own race and look at other races instead.

Pixelated Mo is right. You were careless la. So what 50/50? Many people score high marks for studies, but are not street-wise. You know that MALAYSIANS, in general, have screwed-up road ethics - so please go and learn some DEFENSIVE driving…don’t resort to racial remarks, it’ll only reflect what kind of a person you are…and I don’t think that you’re shallow… :-)

And yes, police report, you can write in English…first time report ka?

boon said during March 15th, 2007 at 10:43 am

eh? mind if i ask, wat “jibe” stands for?:D

True tat some will really be ignorant on their own race’s “village” attitude and is not a good when it touches these kinda issues, that’s where problems and misunderstanding come along.

Careless, ya human nature or bad habit as pixelated Mo said ;) but still the law of those 2 incident sux big time! 50/50 man! my only full marks ever since when i was finish my primary standard 3 i think, of course i m happy about it! hahaha! but heck, who give a damn about 50/50 of this undang-undang, is js an “open passage” to have a license tat’s all, what i m trying to said is tat even i have a 50/50, but still nvr ever seen a word mentioning on tat particular privileges law.

neh, my 2nd time writing a report but still i wrote in Malay, “respect” mer, and i still remember the first time reporting i was being charged 20cents for their photostat-ing on the report which i nvr requested.

hah! when i saw pixelated mo’s commment, i’d been expecting ur arrival, is js the matter of time, hhehehe~ anyway, thanks for stopping by Gallivanter ;)

Gallivanter said during March 15th, 2007 at 11:05 am

Yes, I was notified by your ex-superior regarding your remark. Don’t la stoop so low like your friend Loon. :-) You’re way better than that man!

boon said during March 15th, 2007 at 11:33 am

well, tat’s a compliment i guess..thanks man, i’d learned a new word “stoop” today (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/stoop). For a while i thought it was some spelling errors but on second thought, i won’t be coz if from ul :) btw, he not my fren, he’s my cousin ;)

boon said during March 16th, 2007 at 10:09 am

errm…u mean boon or loon? lolz

loon said during March 16th, 2007 at 4:29 pm

yeah, i am the 1 with narrow
muaahahahah

Saruwatari Amon Cometh said during March 16th, 2007 at 7:25 pm

LOL…. I bet Loon did not even meant any racism things when he said that. I mean, come on… Indians have dark skin color what… Maybe someone is offended when loon say black….which is in fact the naked truth…What, say white boy ah??? hehehehe

Racism is like for example if the group that use violence on loon consists of other people and not only Indians, and he still uses Indians to generalize the matter..that IS called RACISM..

And oh, in my case, the policeman is chinese… =p…
Again……those RICH ppl will benefit regardless the race…lol..

One word….

CORRUPTION……

Peace!!!!!!!!!!! =p

loon said during March 16th, 2007 at 8:12 pm

yeah~ :)

boon said during March 17th, 2007 at 11:16 am

although still saying “Anti-Rasuah”, but tat’s just appears to be only the cosmetic to cover up their asses. Even for now, and also in the future mostly, corruptions will still have the priority on the law!
