As maybe some of us always heard that Vista Home Basic isn't worth of buying, why is it so? Vista Home Basic is the cheapest package among the Vista's series. There's of course a reason why it is the cheapest.
Vista Home Basic doesn't allow or doesn't support on Aero interface. Aero interface is a glassy looking interface which is the core selling point of Vista, if your PC isn't capable of running Aero interface you really shouldn't be getting yourself a Vista even if is the Vista Home Basic. Running a Vista OS would certainly consuming much more resource than Windows XP or other previous version of Windows, so since you cant even run a Aero interface, why bother wasting money on getting a Vista which would slow down your PC performance compare to the current Windows that you are using now? So it is always being advise to stick back to your current running OS until you have a Vista capable PC and get other packages rather then the Home Basic! ;)

For those who are using Vista but disable the Aero interface and switch to classic mode, this applies to you as well...
