TMNET Streamyx Super Duper Deal Promotion~ Nah!

After a serious drunk yesterday night at Bojangles pub at Sri Hartamas, this morning can hardly get up from the bed, but can’t help it and have to force myself to wake up as I had an appointment for my eye check-up. So after having a light breakfast, quickly went to The Curve’s Vista Vision Specialist. Nothing major or even minor happened to my eye, is still in a good sight range. Oh yeah~ Now after the check-up, I plan to walk around The Curve for a while, because i knew there was something going on from TMNET, and heard Lara Croft from Tomb Raider will be there as well!(of course is costume play from TMNET people)

The whole event area was actually dominated by NTV7, and TMNET’s booth was just at the small small portion, seriouisly I don’t know how they actually manage to squeesh in. That are is full of “orange”.

Oranges Attack

Saw only a bunch of oranges and did not see Lara Croft, so i asked my colleague which I saw him a while ago what had happen to Lara Croft, he said TMNET might not have enough time to prepare, therefore, no Lara Croft! Dammit! I wanted to see big boobs! But anyway, still got plenty of promoting girls around. Though I see them only distributing the flyers but not make any attempt on explaining anything to the person who took the flyers, untrained? or doesn’t want to waste energy to talk to them? God knows….

Oranges Attack

So what is about this promotion? StreamyX Super Duper Deal, 100% Discount off modem, games and more! Hmm… Streamyx 1Mbps for RM77/month (WTF…), Free Modem, Free Unlimited Online Games, Free 3 month TMNET Hotspot, Free 24 months Safe Surfing Solution, Free 3 months TMNET BB Phone Subscription (What The Hell…). In the flyer it says : It’s not too good to be true. It’s good and it’s true. Just sign up between 1 April and 31 May 2007!, ya right~ suck my cock TMNET! Again you are creating these kind of promotion to attract more and more new victims! It’s fine that you all did not put us who are the long loyal customers in account, but you did not even provide us a stable connection! Connection not stable, customer service sux, qualified technician are not enough to support the demand, still they wanted to make another promotion to get more customer….speechless. For sure if there’s another ISP which would offer a better connection, eventhough might be slightly expensive, but for sure I will change! I guess it won’t be only me. Not only you will not have new subscribers wont will also lost the current loyal subscribers as well. That’s the credit for only trying to get more and more subscribers rather then keeping the current subscribers staying. Thanks for the kindness TMNET ;)

TM Nut, they only offer their new promotions to new victims, a very good lure and leave us that are already caught to slowly rot with their “Broad”band. Kudos to TM Nut!

YGS: I’m no psychologist, by I think you really don’t like TMnet…:P

Lunaticgal: TM controls all the last mile connections (phone lines), so there are able to drive their competitors’ price higher until it becomes unfeasible for the competitors to maintain the service.

@seraphangel: broadband huh? should name it something else instead :P

@Nesh: talk about getting them to come and fix something, it is really a waste of time and have to purposely take leave for it! geez!

@lunaticgal: Well, with the help of our gov and TM, they dominate the whole internet service as what Aeres had said ;)

@Aeres: True, i dun like them. In fact, I don’t think anybody likes them, not in my range of friends. That is if you had gone thru their pathetic customer service.

everyone in malaysia who has broadband would have gone through them, NarrowBand call it we should.

Why not try Airzed’s WIMAX? Using a leading edge wireless technology which provides high-throughput broadband connections over long distances, downtime is relatively lesser. Weather is not a concern here and at RM128 per month, you will have your call answered within 3 rings. Pricing on their websites are not updated, so you need to call to enquire.

@roxzen: hmm, i tot is still coming soon, so i was actually just waiting and waiting for it. if is RM128, might can consider. well then, will consider bout it, but i heard that greenpackage has obtain some sort of the “license” to have the WiMax, might wait till it to launch and make comparison on both of them:D

lara croft @ the curve eh? is she show up or not? hehehe. by the way, i’ve thinking of subscribing Maxis Broadband as well. for just RM98, u’ve got almost 1MB/ps connection, plus u can select wether cable or wireless 3G. i never have TMNET Broadband (or NarrowBand) at my home. most of the time, i’ll go to cybercafe or friend’s house to surf internet. Maxis 3G Broadband seems like suit my taste, maybe i’ll give a try next month.

oh yeah, ur blog is very informative. i like it, especially the RSS button tutorial :D
