Boonage

Ah yes…last week was the 4th anniversary of me and my girl. Wasn’t able to celebrate on that day and it was then replace by today (for the meal). She’s like any other girls whom like chocolate a lot, really is A LOT. She claims that chocolate’s sweetness would always able to cheer her up anytime, which I doesn’t really know whether is true or not..heheh. Anyway, she never tried Chocolate Fondue before, so I decided to bring her to try at least once on it. Therefore decided to go dine in Shangri-La Hotel’s Lemon Garden Café which has this Chocolate Fondue, for a Hi-Tea.

Once reach the café and got to our table, I quickly held her hand and walk towards the Chocolate Fondue machine. I can see her joyceful face when she saw the machine with loads of chocolate liquid flowing like a fountain~~~

Of course we did not try it straight away, it’s a dessert anyway. So we head on to the main dishes area and begin our Hi-Tea session! Various choices of food from Eastern to Western. There are Dim Sum, Fried Popiah, Porridge, Mee Soup etc for Chinese Cuisine. Sashimi, Sushi for the Japanese Cuisine. Satay, Roti Canai, Meat Rendangs for the local cuisine lovers. Pasta, Pizza, Salads, Seafoods, etc. After looking through all of the different cuisine, we grabbed ourselve a plate and start! Due to the hungriness, managed to only start taking photos after a few rounds of visiting the food panels.

For oysters and mussels craze like me would never miss the chance to eat this! Ate quite a number of oysters!

No matter is a buffet dinner, lunch of Hi-Tea. The most important is not only the foods available, but also the desserts which plays a very important role as well…

The small cup with chocolate pudding plus a white squary thing on top (that’s a milk chocolate) is the best! The black chocolate thing sitting on the spoon, the chocolate cream inside was awesome!! Others on the plate also taste great!

Mango Pudding was sweet enough and the Strawberry Pudding eventhough it’s sour base but the taste wasn’t bad at all!

Finally the moment of truth! Hahhaha! This was what we came all the way here for! The Chocolate Fondue!

My girl even made me a special ice-cream with the chocoate fondue’s chocolate on it! It looks good but doesn’t taste good. Hehehe, all the chocoate get solid very fast and frankly speaking, those chocolate really isn’t nice to consume when it’s on its solid form.

Very full indeed! More to “jelak” because of the dessert’s sweetness Anyway, got free coffee to help on easing the “jelak”ness. The whole dinner was around 2 hours. After finished our coffee, we head back to home~~~~ going to have a hard time to digest all the stuffs! hehehe~
