Boonage

Yesterday attended the Blogger Booze. Reached there around 10pm, made a quiet entry. Say hi to Daniel whom was the organizer of this gathering. Then straight away search for my ex-colleagues, Chelva, Alvin and also not to forget Gerald. Wasn’t plan to drink any alcoholic drink initially, but end up ordering myself a Lime Margarita…errm, taste more like a normal Lime Juice actually. Hehehe..

Roughly half and hour passed and finally there’s an event. Boozing Competition? I don’t know the name lah~ but anyway, around 16 people divided into 2 teams, each person has a cup of beer with them, rules were the first person of each team will start drinking, and the person beside them will have to drink their cup of beer as soon as the person beside him/her finishes their cup of beer. Which team finish the first, wins.

Daniel brought Kenny Ng and introduced to me, he even handed me his namecard of his blog, OMG..this is really the first time I get a namecard of a blogger! Now even a blogger is consider a proffesion leh, don’t play play!

People starting making their move around 11.15pm (estimation). Still i sat at my that place from the very beginning until now, talking with my ex-colleagues. Oh yah, also met up with a cheerful girl - Wan Shen (i think it spelt like that), she’s not a blogger, but she likes to hang out with bloggers! hahaha, a pretty fun girl and a superb drinker!

Midnight arrived and everyone leaving the Modesto, some heading back home, some continue their party at The Curve’s Laundry. When I was saying goodbye to Chelva and Alvin and we were about to get up and ciao, Wan Shen pursuaded 3 of us to stay back for another drink. Oh well, she very persuasive I would say, so me, Chelva and Alvin decided to stay back and ordered another jug of something. The Long Island Cocktail. I really have to say that was the weirdess Long Island I had ever drink! We even thought it might be one. Funny thing was, during that hour, that whole section just left our table which are occupied. A pub during Saturday night….hmm

We drank, we chat, we laugh. The speaker sound there was overwhelming and each time one of us talk, all of us had to gather our head near to each other in order to listen to what he or she wanted to say. Another reason why I don’t like to go to pub/disco/club. Roughly around 1 hour staying back, due to the song was getting more and more horrible, we had no choice but to leave, maybe was one of the tactic to chase us away so that they can close that section? hhaha, who knows~

Guys, nice meeting up back with you guys. Enjoyed my time talking with you all again. Wan Shen, nice knowing you! Of course not to forget Kenny Ng the pool noob wannabe! Thanks for Daniel on organizing this event, though something doesn’t turned out to be as wanted to, but still good work on it!
