Ratatouille!

Last Monday went to watch Ratatouille with my another half, thanks to Nuffnang of course for the free tickets which they gave out on the Nuffnang Gives Away 75 Tickets to Watch Ratatouille! in conjunction of their first video ad campaign. I recieved the ticket vouchers last week and was suppose to blog about it but was..well, I know it sounds lame but still is the truth..busy :(

Anyway, Jeng Jeng Jeng~~~ the voucher that I recieved from Nuffnang through mail (as in real mail). So went to redeem it at Cathay Cineplexes and FYI, you can exchange it at any cinema

Well, about the movie. As is from Pixar Production, so the 3D animation’s quality is undoubtfully great, the movement of Remy (the main character of ratatouille) was really damn realistic especially when he climbed up from the sewer to the top of the city right after he got seperated from the colony.

Humour scenes were also a trademark of Disney’s animation and everytime it never fail to make the audience laugh! I personally likes the part where the mice that were stealing food in the kitchen hides when Linguini suddenly appear, also the part where the health inspector bump in when the whole colony of mice were in the kitchen ready to help Remy.

Not to forget 1 thing, the opening short clips from Pixar before the actual movie starts, it’s very damn funny! An Alien kid trying to get his spaceship controlling license, those who’s going to watch it be sure to never miss this opening!

Honestly I am not a very keen in watching cartoons or animations in cinema, if it were not for the free movie tickets I probably won’t watch it in the cinema..However still recommend you all to watch it if you were to relax yourself from a stressful day! The ratings from me on this animation is 7/10 (Noted that I seldom watch animation in cinema so it might affect the ratings).

It wasn’t funny, but WAY better than CARS & INCREDIBLES combined. I loved it because it was heartwarming. 8/10 for me.

as for ratatouille itself…i guess Pixar has done an excellent job in trying to keep its animation on standard..it is indeed a great show!
