Boonage

Attended the Anual Webmaster Gathering organized by Webmaster Malaysia Forum which was sponsored by Exabytes. i’d joined this WMF for quite some time but this was my first time attending the gathering as well as meeting up face to face with the forumers. As being shown at the above image, the event took place at The Apartment at The Curve. All this while i wanted to try out this place, but fortunately this gathering helped me on it, lolz. It is as how the name of this place, the whole environment is really like an apartment and is just like u are dining at an apartment’s living room. Great place to chill out with friends.

Well, the gathering started at 12pm. The first person i saw was my cousin KaiLoon which i was quite surprised. Then it was Lim CS, the admin of WMF who greeted me.

After getting the goodie bag and the lucky draw survey filled up, settled down myself beside my cousin at the very back of the room (it’s a room i think). After the first speaker of the day - Rohan who represent Microsoft to talk about Silverlight arrived, the event officially started.

As being said, first up was Rohan, speaking on Silverlight. Then it was the very pro-tech-blogger - Liew CF to give a couple of tips on how to blog also his journey of getting himself the X number of income per month. He’s could be a but nerdy look, but hey, he earns a lot!!

After the 2 wonderful speeches, the first lucky draw commenced and i am proud to say that - I WAS THE FIRST LUCKY DRAW WINNER!! hahah, lolz! Well, as i am always a low profile guy, so no photo of myself in here. Anyway, got a Voucher which worth me a hosting package at exabytes plus the 7 wonders’ T-shirt. Not bad at all! ^^
Oh, btw during the tea break after the lucky draw, i finally met Louiss, the mastermind behind Blogging Secret. Damn macho fella.

Right, after tea break, there continue the talk session which started by Adrian from Neowave to talk about fraud prevention on e-commerce. Follow up by Ikram, owner of Filament Phase, giving tips on how to design website using grid.

The event actually ended at 5pm, which was 1 hour earlier than the expected time, however i did not stay long as that day was me and my girl’s anniversary, so had to rush to her fast! hehe, below are the few oter photos which i grab from the forum.
