The Sze Chuan Earthquake and the Myanmar Cyclone disasters were the hot topic ever since it happended in May. In order to help the disaster relief, many organizations had been running couple of donation drive hope to raise some fund for this purpose. Kind hearted people like us will definitely help and donate if we are able or afford to. However, i hate to say this but there are certain among our people or private organization that often hold a donation by the name of helping the victim of these disaster, but actually appears to be a scam. Money which donate to their account did not reach the disaster area and would never ever reach, rather into their very own pocket.
So an advise to everyone of u out there, if anybody approach u for any donation even with any certificate or anything that could proof their identity, think twice before giving them your hard earn money that might possibly end up for nothing but their evil grin on you. If you truely want to donate to them, get their organization address and go straight to their place to make sure it is reliable or not then only u pass the donation money to them, and this is what me and my family do. It could be troublesome but it’s better than having the money go into these earth rubbish’s hand.
It had been almost 3 weeks since SiChuan was struck by the massive earthquake. Many had lost their lifes and many went missing. Many had lost their precious one, many had lost their home. In just a few minutes, this cruel natural disaster turned a big province to a total wasteland in just minutes…
Reporters from all over the globe rushed to SiChuan hoping to update those who were concern about this incident through media. When one thing which caught the attention of everybody who were there was the appearance of one old man. He’s no other than the Premier of the People’s Republic of China - Wen JiaBao (温家宝)
Ok now, i gonna talk about the cendol which i will never miss and big time favourite, in fact i think this cendol is the best! This cendol u won’t be able to find it in the town, well…this always happen on those delicious food as all the great things cannot be found in town always. This owner of this cendol stall was actually one of my x-colleaguemate’s aunt. My this x-colleaguemate’s dad and one of my relatives were once partner on producing cendols ya, the green stuffs. (i only knew all these after i first eat in this stall)
Anyway, first of all this owner i like her attitude, very very VERY friendly. She will talk with u and joke with u if she’s free but that only happen on the first 15 mins when she start her business of the day because after that her stall will be overwhelm with customers. She run the whole thing by herself, yup.. alone. She start her business at 1pm until it finish which normally would be 2 - 3pm. Business day i am not sure, but i went there during Sat and Sun before and both days she was there, or maybe u can try your luck on one of the weekdays
Crap! PC don’t know got what problem and had to be hospitalise for one day yesterday, luckily it was fixed now. Another reason to get a mac. Anyway, continue on my Malacca trip. Other than Chicken Rice Ball, there’s another must not miss food there. Hmm, more like a dessert - Cendol. There are 3 places of cendol which i like the most, one of them is the stall which is right opposite of the Chicken Rice Ball which i mentioned earlier on. Yup, is right opposite.
Other than the cendol, there’s another speciality about this stall. The owner of this stall has a nice set of collection. A collection of Coke.
Sorry for being MIA for quite a while. Quite a number of things were caught on my sleeves for the last couple of days. Anyway, just back from Malacca trip. It’s been a while since i step foot in Malacca, think my last time being there was my graduation day at Malacca back in 2005. Glad that the roads did not change much so that i could still recognize the way to the food which i wanted to eat there
One of the must eat food when u in Malacca is the Chicken Rice Ball. For me, i only eat at one place, not the one which has fancy tourist decoration restaurant, not the one which is in the big town, but is the one restaurant which was there for a very long time, the one at Jonker Street.
Last week i talked about The Rival Battle between MAS and AirAsia, and i made a comment yesterday that i was looking forward on the backfire from MAS. Today, i flipped the newspaper and i saw…
At first i thought, hmm…well is just another Everyday Low Fare, so doesn’t really bother on it. Then i flipped to the second page, i saw…
When was Speed Racer cartoon was shown, i wasn’t very sure. I remembered i first expose to this Speed Racer and Mach 5 was on a game which i played when i was still in early primary. Still remember the car was full of gadgets. Jumping spring, oil, mines, bullet proof mirror, tyre protector etc. Now Warner Bros had came out with the Speed Racer Movie, and i watched it yesterday. It was a 2 hours plus movie, and after the movie ends, i have only 1 thing in mind - I WANT MORE!
If u read newspaper these few days, surely u will notice there’s this Air Tickets Ads stated RM 0 air fare to all domestic routes. Yup, that’s the Everyday Low Fares promotion or so called 0 Fare. I first notice this through the newspaper ads, there was this one fine day when i flipped the newspaper as what i did normally, and saw this AirAsia ads on their air fare on the short border of the newspaper page, with their usual red color of course. Then after flipping a few pages, another full page Ads with whole AirAsia red color background, with all the RM 0 fare domestic flight. Then i look to the bottom of the page : “Eh??” this is the reaction i had when i saw the bottom of the Ads, the red color was teared and appeared a light blue color as background and there written - only at Malaysia Airlines - FlyFlyz.
After i see this ads, i was thinking - “hmm…surely AirAsia gonna react on this ads campaign”. No Doubt! After 2 days after i saw that ads, yesterday i saw an ads from AirAsia!
Last time when i was still studying, i like to do surveys on weird or rather disgusting things. One of the most remembered question i asked my friends or schoolmates or colleague-mate sounded like this.
if one day, one of ur most important thing eg: spectacles if u are wearing it or ur iphone or ur wedding ring etc drop into the public toilet’s toilet bowl, what will u do? will u try to pick it up with ur own barehand? will u just leave it there and walk away?
I used to use the school’s toilet or university hostel’s toilet. Now, let’s take Kota Raya/Pudu Raya’s Public Toilet as example! So what will you do?
This morning, i was together with my going-to-be 3 years old niece watching children song on TV. Among the songs, there’s one song which i think is damn funny when i see the lyrics. Well, for a 3 years old kid of a not-yet-polluted kid then is just a normal children song, but for those Don’t tell me u are not one of them who are already polluted, tell me what does this lyric tells u..
Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat where have you been?
I’ve been to London to look at the Queen.
Pussy Cat, Pussy oh what did you there?
I frightened a little mouse under a chair.
Maybe the first 2 lines is still ok, but the last 2 lines…Pussy cat frightened the mouse under a chair..haha!
