Aseana Puteri Condominium

Last weekend i went to my friend’s new condo unit that he newly bought, it’s a rated hi class condo which is develop by IOI situated at Bandar Puteri Puchong - Aseana Puteri Condominium.

Before this visit i already heard quite a lot of complain regarding their architectual design, furniture, lift funtionality etc. Well, was suppose to visit his unit as i said, but heck my friend forgot to bring his key (speechless). Anyway, did saw some very sad but yet interesting thing, the parking lot. Not talking much about their parking design, if u been to IOI Mall’s top floor parking..ya, is exactly the same thing.

Me and my friend each drove one car, i parked into his parking lot while he parked at the lot just beside, and guess what?

Malaysia Enforcer’s Uniform?

Chinese people have one saying, which is 穿起龙袍不像太子. Direct translation is Does’t look like a prince although u are with a prince’s outfit. Meaning is a person’s look can’t be change by just wearing something different. Still don’t know what it means? Nevermind…today, i flipped the newspaper and i saw a very good example of how to explain it.

It is as how the name of this place, the whole environment is really like an apartment and is just like u are dining at an apartment’s living room. Great place to chill out with friends.

Well, the gathering started at 12pm. The first person i saw was my cousin KaiLoon which i was quite surprised. Then it was Lim CS, the admin of WMF who greeted me.

The Right Way to Speak 2

Yesterday is about How to Praise Someone, now will write on another thing which is opposite of it

When Criticising, You Shouldn’t….

  1. Depending on relation
Criticism will mostly not being welcome by the guy which u give it to eventhough is for his own good. Sometimes that guy might even misunderstood and thought u are insulting him. So don’t simply critise on people unless u and him are best friend or good friends or to a relation where both of u can share opinions with each other.
  2. Say it in an approaching way
An example of criticising people with approaching way would be: “About your XXXXX, i have some opinion on it, probably u could listen and see what u think of it.” So does it sound better than simply saying: I don’t like your XXXX, i think is too XXX and very XXXX”.
  3. Time is a main factor
Never ever EVER criticise people on MONDAY! I guess u all should know why right…Another day is Friday, to avoid spoiling their Friday mood as well.
  4. Always at an appropriate situation
Do not do the criticising thing infront of urs or his friends or workmate. These kinda private conversation should be done best with only both of u.
  5. Together with a Suggestion
By giving a criticism, u should also give ur suggestion on how to improve or solve it, then that person will felt convinced that what u said was true and he should do as what u said.

So it’s all about Criticism, so guys don’t simply criticise especially on the blue day ;) Next will be on how to give a reply on people with care

The Right Way to Speak

Today i read something interesting from the newspaper. It’s about how is the right way to verbally interact with other people so that u will have a good relationship with ur friends or workmates.

It is in chinese so again i will translate it here

How to Praise Someone

  1. praise his talent but not himself
Example if that person is a chef, never said that “You are really a great chef”. This is because inside his heart he knew that there are much more chef around the world which are way better than him. If u say “I spent half of my whole week time dining in your restaurant”. It does sound better right?
  2. Praise through the third party
Think most of us would be agree on this. A praise of someone is always best if it is through the mouth of third party. So do the same and tell any third party and hope the word of prais would reach his ears. However, never ever tell the third party about the bad things on someone, often the third party will add up a lot of stories from their own.
  3. Giving or saying gratitude with the right way
Expressing ur gratitude towards someone who helped u is always good to show ur good manners, but don’t overdo it. If there’s somebody who helped or going to help u on something, simply “Thanks”, “Sorry for the trouble” should be fine enough. Please try not to use “I am lack of knowledge on this field, hope that u could help me on this” or “i am a noob, please teach me”, it could send the wrong messege or that someone might misunderstood ur meaning.
  4. Accepting someone’s praise with a thanks
When somebody is being praised, a “Thanks for the compliment”. Don’t add anything or replying something unessecary. Eg: If somebody praise that ur shirt or necklace is very nice, u said: “Oh thanks, It’s just a cheap thing”, again could convey the wrong message, and worst if he or she got insulted.
  5. Respect to get respected
If somebody u hate or ur rival are being praised by anybody, don’t always try to add a: But…, if u really don’t agree with their statement, still u have to say : “Yup, he does work hard on it”. If one day they found out the truth about it and knew that u did not talk bad about ur rival, do u think u will get the respect?

Alright, this are only the first part, will post up the rest of the parts on the next entry ;)

Ahh..My Good Old Blog

Fuah..when was the last time i update my blog..i couldn’t even remember. haha..anyway, actually really like what Abby said before - Laziness Strikes. However, yesterday some words that was said by someone struck me hard and regain back my blogging drive. And so here i am now once again.

These few weeks after i’d resigned and have myself enroll in the all time favourite of everyone - Freelance, been pretty busy. Busy of course is a good sign for freelancer but whether there’s an income or not is another question. One of the major problem which a freelancer face (yup, i believe all the freelancer face this problem as well) is the payment from the client. Often after u finish ur project and handed over, few changes and additional minor request is for sure will have, but after the changes and requests were done and all the amendment were done, they will keep their mouth shut and won’t contact u and hope that u will not chase them for the payment (of course not ALL of the client are like that) until u have to put on a thick mask on ur face and keep asking and asking for it. Some even worst, additional request and changes will take forever. Well, u won’t really take any legal action though the TnC said u will do so right? it won’t do good on both party anyway unless things really get into very bad situation.

Of course during my freelance days are not all on freelance project, of course there are some entertainment. WoW was one of them and lately i am back again to Archmage with my friends, again forming a really idiot guild and ready to get wipe anytime, hahahha. That’s what made me no time to update my blog (reasons only lah..lazy then lazy lah~)

Anyway, will be back in my blog more often again from today onwards!

Think Twice Before Making A Donation to the Unknown

The Sze Chuan Earthquake and the Myanmar Cyclone disasters were the hot topic ever since it happended in May. In order to help the disaster relief, many organizations had been running couple of donation drive hope to raise some fund for this purpose. Kind hearted people like us will definitely help and donate if we are able or afford to. However, i hate to say this but there are certain among our people or private organization that often hold a donation by the name of helping the victim of these disaster, but actually appears to be a scam. Money which donate to their account did not reach the disaster area and would never ever reach, rather into their very own pocket.

So an advise to everyone of u out there, if anybody approach u for any donation even with any certificate or anything that could proof their identity, think twice before giving them your hard earn money that might possibly end up for nothing but their evil grin on you. If you truely want to donate to them, get their organization address and go straight to their place to make sure it is reliable or not then only u pass the donation money to them, and this is what me and my family do. It could be troublesome but it’s better than having the money go into these earth rubbish’s hand.

Wen JiaBao

It had been almost 3 weeks since SiChuan was struck by the massive earthquake. Many had lost their lifes and many went missing. Many had lost their precious one, many had lost their home. In just a few minutes, this cruel natural disaster turned a big province to a total wasteland in just minutes…

Reporters from all over the globe rushed to SiChuan hoping to update those who were concern about this incident through media. When one thing which caught the attention of everybody who were there was the appearance of one old man. He’s no other than the Premier of the People’s Republic of China - Wen JiaBao (温家宝)
